Salento bike tours
1) Otranto-Dolmen-Porto Badisco
Guests have the opportunity to cycle from Otranto to the magnificent Porto Badisco where according to legend, the Trojan hero Aeneas landed. Porto Padisco is a beautiful town on the seaside and is rich with olive groves, dolmens and menhirs (typical neolithic standing stones). This is a full-guided tour for a minimum of 6 participants
There are two itineraries guests can chose from: a 24 kilometer tour to be covered in half a day (€40/pp) or a tour that covers 30 kilometers for the full day (€60pp).

The pick up point will vary between the following starting points: Otranto, or the Masseria itself.
2) Park of the ancient olive trees
Our guests will ride through hectares of olive trees, villages, farms, and many other areas of cultural and historical significance. The cycling routes run do not require any particular training and are suited for most people.
Tours last an average of three and a half hours, and will allow our guests to discover the charming and rural landscape.
The starting point is located by the ‘Laboratorio Mobilita’ shop in Via Della Vittoria 151, in San Cassiano.
This is a guided tour with a minimum of 7 participants.

Tasting of "Terre dei Paduli", an Extra Virgin Olive Oil which is produced in the olive grove you will visit.
Pizzica dance classes
Do you want to learn the ‘Pizzica’, a world famous Salento dance?
A professional Pizzica dancer will introduce you to the basic steps of this traditional dance, born out of a mix of cultures and sounds. Thanks to this lesson, you’ll soon be able to dance like a local at Puglian festivals such as the Notte della Taranta. The lesson lasts 1 hour and a half, and takes place in the late afternoon.
The price is €100 to be divided amongst all participants.
Salento cooking school
Would you love to learn how to cook traditional dishes from Salento?
During this course you will cook yourself some of the best local dishes, helped by local chefs. Of course, the best part will be enjoying your delicacies at the forthcoming dinner!
Here's the menu you will learn how to cook from scratch:
Eggplant Parmigiana or Potato Pizza
Twisted Sagne (a local pasta) with Tomato and Basil or Orecchiette (a famous local variant of pasta) with Turnip
Semi-fried Chicory or Peppers with Breadcrumbs
Marmalade Cake Including complementary wine.
Tasting
The Great Wines of Salento
Salento is the land of Negroamaro, Salice, Primitivo and many others, be it red, white or Rosé. You will have the opportunity to taste many fine wines while enjoying a traditional local supper.
The price for this tasting experience (dinner with complimentary wine) varies between €35 and €50, depending on the menu.
Beer Tasting Experience
Salento will always be wine country, but the region has recently developed a taste for locally brewed beer. A delightful local pub offers its guests crafted, homemade beers together with great food in a rustic setting.
This experience prices between €20 to €25, depending on selection.
